This little hotel is fine! The lush garden area and beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast in the garden dining area was a good experience. The freshly brewed coffee and made-to-order meals were just perfect.

My stay at Refugio Huasteco was truly exceptional! The staff were attentive and made me feel perfectly at ease from the start. The cleanliness of my Deluxe Room was outstanding, and the cozy atmosphere really felt like a home away from home.
More dining options would improve the experience.

The Deluxe Room offered impressive comfort, spaciousness, and a tasteful decor that made it feel more like a cozy hideaway than just a hotel stay. Access to activities in town was straightforward, allowing easy exploration without the need for complicated planning.
It would have been beneficial to receive more suggestions about local activities from the hotel, as it felt a little lacking in guidance. Another downside was the absence of dinner options at the hotel. Although the owner offered the option to arrange a private chef for future visits, it didn't quite address the immediate need for dining on site during our stay.

Staying here was a fantastic experience! The deluxe room was not only spacious and clean but also had a lovely aroma that reminded me of a spa. The breakfast was truly a treat, served in a beautiful garden setting where I could enjoy freshly made meals. Being just a short walk from attractions like Cascadas de Tamasopo made exploring easy and fun. I highly recommend the taco truck on-site for a delicious taste of local cuisine!

A truly memorable and personalized experience!
My stay was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in a beautiful oasis, with incredibly clean and spacious rooms that smelled like a spa. The staff went out of their way to make my visit special, including setting up a lovely dinner for my mother and me. Additionally, they provided an excellent guide, Mr Jorge Castilla, who took us around the area. The only thing I would have liked is more dining options on-site during our stay.

Beautiful gardens create a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation, with rooms that truly feel like a serene retreat. Breakfast served in the garden was a fantastic experience, featuring freshly made meals that exceeded expectations. However, the surrounding streets felt a bit poorly lit at night and could use better signage for nearby attractions. Additionally, while I enjoyed the on-site taco truck, I found the lack of dinner options in the hotel somewhat limiting during my stay.

The delightful gardens created an oasis-like ambiance that was truly relaxing, complemented by spacious, clean rooms that had a soothing aroma. Breakfast was a highlight, served outdoors with fresh ingredients, and the local taco truck on-site provided an excellent taste of the area. However, the hotel could benefit from more dining options as the nearby streets felt a bit dark at night, which might deter some guests from venturing out.
